Jiangsu Sainty Corp., Ltd. (formerly known as Jiangsu Garment Branch Company of China National Textile Import and Export Corporation) was established in 1979. In December 1993, Sainty completed its shareholding reform. In September 2000, Sainty was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 600287).
In July 2023, by decision of the Jiangsu provincial committee and government, Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu High Hope International Group Corporation, Jiangsu Huilong Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Sainty International Group Co., Ltd. were reshuffled and integrated, in which Sainty Corp. Ltd. was wholly merged into the new SOHO Holdings Group together with the Sainty Group.
After 40 years of steady development, Sainty now has 11 wholly-owned or holding subsidiaries. Its business scope covers multiple fields such as import and export trade, domestic trade, garment production, chemicals storage, equity investment, etc. Sainty’s products are exported to nearly 100 countries and regions, including the United States, the EU, and Canada. By the end of 2022, Sainty’s total assets and net assets were CNY 3.854 billion and CNY 1.886 billion respectively. In 2022, Sainty’s revenue, total profit and total export-import volume were CNY 4.096 billion, CNY 136 million and USD 388 million respectively.
In recent years, Sainty has been holding fast to the “two-wheel driving” business development strategy. On the one hand, it’s been optimizing and enhancing its existing business, i.e., steadily developing its trading business, with garment being the core. By establishing comprehensive business support platforms, Sainty promotes the transformation and upgrading of its garment business. On the other hand, Sainty proactively explores new markets. By developing new, characteristic market businesses that are “differentiated, staggered, and with thresholds”, it’s developing steadily in fields like woodware, special steel for nuclear power plants, national aid to foreign countries, controlled chemicals, and mid and high-end consumer products. With the scale of these businesses growing significantly and the stickiness of strategic clients getting higher and higher, Sainty’s foundation of sustainable development is further enhanced.
